AN INVITATION
I'm inviting you to take a
trip with me-this isn't a vacation, but a journey toward justice. This
site is for the average man or woman, who is feeling that the system of
big business and corporate abuses is spinning out of control. I am taking
a trip to court and want you to come along, just for a chance to see how
David
fights Goliath. Let's see if Justice is available to the common
man?
I can
not tell you how many times, I have heard people say that they have been
given the run around, lied to, or in some cases, outright cheated by a big
corporation and dared to do something about. The fact is that the reason
that these "business people" get away with systematic abuses of customers
and a multitude of other wrongs-the list is too long for my bandwidth- is
that the person is fired up and angry, but then goes home, and forgets
about it while they zone out in front of the TV. The company that you
threatened to sue knows that, and banking on it, just rides it out until
you give up.
This site is just one man's wish to show the average American, that it is
possible to fight back. In the next few weeks, you can check back, and
learn of my battle with the corporate giant, Wal-Mart. I will take you
with me, step by step, as I slug it out and test the system to see if
justice is still available to everyman...more

"The free market functions effectively only when
consumers have all the facts. A brilliant new film by Robert Greenwald
tells the real story of the corrosive effects that Wal-Mart wreaks upon
the communities in which it operates and the men and women it employs." -Rob
Reiner
WAL-MART: THE HIGH COST OF LOW PRICE is a feature length documentary that
uncovers a retail giant's assault on families and American values.
The film dives into the deeply personal stories and
everyday lives of families and communities struggling to fight a goliath.
A working mother is forced to turn to public assistance to provide
healthcare for her two small children. A Missouri family loses its
business after Wal-Mart is given over $2 million to open its doors down
the road. A mayor struggles to equip his first responders after Wal-Mart
pulls out and relocates just outside the city limits. A community in
California unites, takes on the giant, and wins!
Producer/Director Robert Greenwald and Brave New Films
take you on an extraordinary journey that will change the way you think,
feel -- and shop. RUNNING TIME 98 MINUTES.
